What American State is best for an Australian Au Pair?

- Enjoy light, healthy food
- Want to go to disneyland
- want to travel through the south (georgia, new orleans)
- I want to see NY, but this will be done during the Au Pair training anyway
- Id love to see alligators in the wild (random I know)
- I like to be active

maybe florida or california?
I was thinking florida
seeings as I can do everything from there
and Ill get to see NY anyways

where else is nice?

EG, if I went to washington, do you think the family would at least vacation in florida?

How much clothes should I bring?

I’m going to Glacier in a few days, but its my first big backpacking trip. I want to travel light, but at the same time I want to have enough clothes so if some get wet I’ll be ok.

I figure that on the train ride there and back (2 days a peice), I really only need 1 change of clothes for there and back. That leaves 6 days of hiking. How many changes of clothes should I bring? Obviously I’ll be changing some things more than others (ie. socks and underwear) but how often is it smart to rewear clothes?
